Asciilands Fan Guide is an independent fan site for Asciilands, the free browser sandbox drawn in text. It is run by Kai Liu.
How pages are checked
- The game is the source. Recipes, costs, spell numbers and tool stats come from the data the live game sends to a player (a guest character on the North America server), and rules come from the game's own Field guide (Help).
- Every page shows the build it was checked against (currently
c7ba7029d359) and tells you if the official game has shipped a newer build since. - No guessing. If we cannot confirm a number or mechanic in the game, we leave it out instead of estimating it.
- Our own words. We write every guide ourselves and don't copy the official site's text or artwork. Screenshots are our own.
- Pages are re-checked when the game updates. Asciilands is in open beta and changes often.
Independence
This site is not affiliated with Asciilands or its developer, Qaz. The game on our home page is loaded straight from asciilands.io, and we always link to the official site, where you can also support the developer.
