Privacy Policy

Short version: we don't run accounts, ads or analytics, and we don't set cookies.

What we collect

• The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data (IP address, browser user agent, page requested, time) to serve and protect the site, and keeps short-lived logs we can use to fix errors.
• We don't use cookies, tracking pixels or analytics scripts, and there are no ads on the site at the moment.
• Each page asks our own server which game build is live; our server fetches that from asciilands.io. Nothing about you is sent along.
• If you email us, we get your email address and message and use them only to reply.

The embedded game

The game on our home page loads only after you press Play. It comes directly from asciilands.io, which is run by the game's developer, not by us. Once loaded, asciilands.io may store data in your browser (for example your guest character), connect to its game servers and load its own scripts, including Cloudflare's web analytics. Signing in with Discord happens between you, Discord and asciilands.io. Their privacy practices apply to anything inside the game frame.

If we add ads later

If we start showing ads (for example Google AdSense), we will update this policy first, explain which cookies are used, and show a consent choice where the law requires it.
